We are proud to announce that we've just released the possibility of downloading trial version of our themes :)

For long time expected, this feature will allow you to test custom themes in your real CMS environment, and try multiple different configurations, without having to purchase a license.

How do I download a trial theme?

Downloading a trial theme is really simple.

  1. Select your custom configurations in the tuning window
  2. In the tuning window, click on "Submit my request"

  3. On the confirmation window, select "Download a trial version" and confirm the terms and conditions

  4. Click on "Request my trial" to submit your request.

This is it! You will receive your custom theme in minutes.

What are the conditions to use a trial theme?

When using trial themes remember the following:

  • Trial themes are only valid for 48 hours, after which they will stop working
  • Trials cannot in any case be adapted/changed/edited
  • Trials cannot be used in production websites and are only meant to be installed for testing purposes

Troubleshooting

For those getting "trial theme expired" with no css being rendered in the page, please note that the trial themes (unlike full version themes) require Internet access on the server, for validation purposes.

Also, when installing for DotNetNuke, make sure to allow some file extensions (ashx, dll) which are required by trial themes.

If, after troubleshooting the internet connection and ensuring the theme is yet within the trial period, the message still appears, please submit a new support ticket stating the issue and referring the theme's status page (How do I get an update for my theme? : bind tuning support ) so that we can check if there is an internal issue.

Since trial themes perform a lot of validations prior to displaying the theme, usually you can see a few seconds delay before the theme is correctly opened.
This behavior does not occur in purchased themes!

We hope you love testing our themes!

This is wonderful. What is the easiest way to convert from a trial to a licensed version so pages reference the right skin and container?

Hello Charlie,

For DNN, the easiest way is to request both trial and final themes with the exactly same name.

That way, when uploading the licensed theme, it will override the trial version.

Trial theme installs as expected. Skin displays expired trial message in Preview mode with no display of actual trial skin.
