Connect Web Parts to a SharePoint list

To add the Web Part to the page, please have a look at the next article where we explain that step.

Below are the BindTuning Web Parts that have available the option to use SharePoint lists as a source:

  • Alerts
  • Calendar
  • Documents
  • Filters
  • Maps
  • News
  • People
  • Quick Links
  • Tiles
  • Slider

Classic Experience

  1. With the page checked out to you, at the ribbon click on BindTuning tab and select Edit Web Part;
  2. Click on the Web Part properties;
  3. At the list option, add the URL of your site Collection;

    Note: We recommend to use relative URLs.

  4. At the Dropdown select the list that you want to use.
  5. Click to Save the Web Part
  6. The Web part is now connected to the list and you can create new items.

Modern Experience

  1. Click to Edit the Page;
  2. Mouse hover the web part and click on the pencil;
  3. Select to Manage Web Part;
  4. At the list option, add the URL of your site Collection;

    Note: We recommend to use relative URLs.

  5. At the Dropdown select the list that you want to use.
  6. Click to Save the Web Part
  7. The Web part is now connected to the list and you can create new items.
